Could we be better off?

Thursfield has claimed a few scalps in his handful of games. He towelled Riewoldt up. I can't think of any game where Roughhead has beaten such a player. If they were both in the draft now I would go for Thursfield. Don't be fooled just becasue Roughead was no 2 pick that he will be a champion. My gues is he will be a solid player and rack up 200 games. A bit like a Jason McCartney.

As for Franklin and *smile*. Well asa few others have noted Franklin is far froma KPP. *smile* on the other hand hits the pack at a 100 miles an hour, can take a pack and overhead mark and will tackle and kick straight for goal. This guy will make it.

Well I think todays performance answered this question :( We could bloody well be much better off right now.

Unfortunately we have made some drafting errors and have kept players who should have been moved on. Kids like Shane Edwards and JR should have been played today instead of duds like Jackson and Kelvin Moore or even Greg Tivendale.

We are not drafting to our needs. Lacking talls we could have Cam Wood and Mitch Clark not to mention Buddy Franklin on our list but have selected a large group of mids and flankers. Even taking Jake King and Tas Clingan on this years rookie list has set us back >:(

I'm quite p!ssed off right now...

Taraba, after seeing Jack, he'll be lucky to play a maximum of 2 games this year if he is lucky. Jack is a very raw kid that lacks a strong body and his fitness needs improving.

Well that's quite disheartening :'( I don't care so much about winning or losing but when you see complete ineptitude by some players it's a worry.

While we keep playing these no hopers clubs like Carlton, Hawthorn and Essendon are giving their kids valuable senior experience and they'll be better off for it. ARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
