Excellent news for us that Ben Cousins will be allowed to nominate for the PSD rather than have to go through the National Draft. Forget Daniel Kerr, Cousins should be our target now. At 30 and well rested he has a great deal to offer both on the training track and on match day also.
As I see it Carlton are the only real chance of taking him before our pick. But hopefully Juddy prefers a crack at Kerr and even Carltons 'elastic purse' won't be sufficient for both.
Another relatively cheap investment should be made in Seaby. He is clearly on the outer at West Coast and a fresh start with more time in the middle could be just what he needs. At 24 he is about to reach his peak and in my opinion, a far lesser risk than Griffen or Warnock. :hihi
