Cousins has a broken hand

I reckon it's worth getting rid of it, just in case. I mean is it of any value to anyone or the club anyway?

Yeah good call, time to turf out the curse.

Put it this way, if we need it in the future someone from the club can pop down to Spotlight and purchase a couple of metres of the imititation tiger skin, no one will know the difference.

I wonder if we are going to hear about how unprofessional the medical staff were for letting him back on the field after injuring himself...

I'm obviously no medical expert, but how on earth does the club say he may only miss a week if he's having surgery??

Just said on channel 10 that he injured it in the first contest when he come onto the ground and was swelling up all that first quarter. Great effort by cuz to get through the game - cant imagine what the pain would be like as ive never had a broken hand.

Yeh just saw the report on channel ten. Likelihood only to miss Saturday. Still a bummer though as I was really looking forward to seeing him in the Dreamtime game.

The guy's as tough as they come. Fractured in the first term, then plays in pain with increasing swelling throughout the rest of the game.

Great stuff from cuz.

Jesus bloody Christ, when is this "jinx" of injuries to key players going to finish. Brown busted leg, Simmonds out for a season, now Cuz with a hammy, then first game back a busted hand and of course Richo out countless times.

Ah well, at least Cotchin got a full game under his belt, but I reckon Essendon will be heaving a big sign of relief that there will be no Cousins in the mid field to direct traffic.

The best answer for this is for the players to rise above it all, no Richo, no Rance, no Cousin's, game on fella's.

Oh well, guess it gives him a chance to rest those dodgy hammies for a bit ;D

S'what occurred to me Maso.

Tuff mo fo but.

News reports say the club is hopeful he will only miss a week.

And I was so looking forward to him blitzing against Essendon.

ahh, just a hand. Gus broke his ankle in 2007 and continued to play out the game.
