Cousins nominates for NAB AFL Draft

We could have a 10 year player [e.g. Foley], so why take a short term view and recruit Cousins?

Why give Bowden, Johnson and Pettifer new contracts instead of offering one to Cousins?

RFC does not need a drug addict around the club, sends the wrong message.

Hmm, I think you'll find it is possible for drug addicts to become an inspiration at their new club.

Don't you believe me? ;)

If he is taking responsibility for his actions, then why did he remove his hair?

He didn't remove all of his hair, it's just it was shorter than what was required to get a quick result in testing. You can still test, it just takes longer.

He knew he had to supply hair, but at that stage he wasn't aware it had to be a certain length.

Benefit of the doubt.

Here is an opportunity to pick up a 4 time B&F and All-Australian up at a bargin pick.

If Richmond are to pick up the best player in the draft, i say recruit Cousins. He is a quality player.

We all forget that Justin Charles tested positive to steriods and the club stood by him.

There are 7 players out there that have tested twice to AFL drug testing. Cousins never tested positive.

I think that goose running the AFL should be drug tested. He is surely on drugs

JC was prescribed steroids by a doctor to overcome a hip injury that ended his career shortly after he returned from the suspension. A desperate but silly measure to get back to being to play footy that hurt no-one other than Justin.

Its a bit different to being the chief cook of more than one drug induced orgy that was purely for Ben and his druggy mates' self gratification. Not to mention his "now-known" association with criminals involved in dealing death to the kids in our collective suburbs. One of his Eagles mates died and yet Ben still kept up the lifestyle.

After club lists are finalised next month Ben will disappear from the press and media coverage....and hopefully concentrate on staying drug free for the rest of his life....without footy.....just like most other addicts.

Zero tolerence is needed, if he has turn over a new leaf then explain why St Kilda and Collingwood have decided against recruiting him?
I think Jimmy Jess hits the nail on the head here.

Do not need that type around a developing club on the path to ending a premiership drought.

Based on the AFL drug testing performance standards thus far he would be unlikely to even register a pulse :-[
