PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I,ll put my hand up as one of 1000,s of my fellow supporters who have [with good reason ;D] bagged one Kane Pettifer since his 1st season at the club.In fact is one of his nicknames was pettrified and while he still at times is tentative at the ball the fact of the matter is the penny has finally dropped. He acknowledged in the H/ S that how far you go in the AFL depends on how much work you do to get to that level. No more do we see Pets sit on his haunches and waiting for a lazy disposal. We now see him up in the middle and more importantly working his butt off to help his teamates in defence.
it is not suprising that with this hard work he has taken 2 and possibly 3 mark of the days.Confidence grows and the confidence and acknowledgement of his hard work is starting to pay dividends for both himself and the team.
Congratualations Kane the penny has dropped.

Onto another foot sholdier in Chris Hyde.Im a quite fan of his because i believe every team should have at least one.Sure he,s not the most naturely gifted however if you cast your memories back to rnd 1 last year and the 1st game under Terry,s revised attacking game plan who was the first player to "dare",take on oppontents and run with the ball? Chris Hyde. Now i havnt got the stats however how many times has Hyde actually been the one to get our 1st goal because he has taken TW,s game plan like a duck to water.Happened again yesterday.
keep up the great work hydey.
Oh and on behalf of Chris Hyde-Up yours DMX :hihi :hihi :hihi

Another player i should mention who fairly has had his distractors in the past.Over the past 3 weeks he has stepped up his work load and while the stats do not reflect his improvement no one can deny[except claw ;D] he has contributed to the team effort.Maybe its a combination of like Pettifer the penny has dropped and the overall work rate of the team which makes life alot easier for krak.He is one of the most skillfull in the side and his little 1% er,s is something that often get unoticed[yet when Tambling does it,its headline news ;)].While your not totally out of the woods just yet your certainly heading in the right direction.

To all 3 credit when credit is due :clap :clap :clap :clap
