They had a crack and just got pipped.
The team played its heart out.
They played some good footy in tough conditions.
Some of the young un's had great games.
All would be hurting big time after the loss.
But not many posters on PRE have acknowledged many positives.
Have we all turned into grumpy gloomy Eyeore's?
Chins up people.

Reality check time- we are into Walla$e 5th year as coach and we are 1 win and 7 losses. is that good enough?

I listened to some of the second quarter and thought (as I did against the Roos early in the game) that we would get pumped by 100 points.

To the teams credit they pulled out their finger in the third and I heard during the fourth quarters and nearly won the game.

If they could play consistent 4 quarters it would be great.

Maybe one day. And I don't think it really matters who is the coach once they are out on the ground (maybe). :-\

I'm going to watch again to make sure, but did I see some tackles, smothers and shepards yesterday from guys in black and yellow guernseys??

I was guttered after the loss mainly because the players finally showed some heart and they didn't get the reqward they deserved imo.

Last year Bowden held the mark for a win, this year bowden missed the mark for a loss. (Syd vs West C games). De Ja Vu. woah.

It was great to see the players back themselves, even though they made errors, they put risk to the wind and played direct football ! loved it. Pity on the result. Its like they don't know how to win the close ones. With a few better players coming into the team it looked much settled.

Lets hope we can turn this season around with continuing this style of play and win !

Cousins & Cotch will be better for it. Cousins was inspring after half time, with some great leadership qualities and skill so badly needed in this team.

Go Tiges

Yeah defensive pressure was up this week... But that begs the question... Why isn't that effort displayed every week?

And Warren Tredrea said after the game they're playing about 60-70% of their capability right now... And we still couldn't beat them. Hmmm.

As if he would come out and say they are playing the best footy of the year. ::) ::)
