Cresswell in sex assault claim - The Age

Former AFL champion and potential St Kilda AFL coach Darryn Cresswell is allegedly under investigation for sexual assault, according to a report today.

The ABC today reported a woman made a complaint of sexual assault against the former Brisbane Lions assistant coach after an alleged incident at the weekend.

A SEXUAL assault complaint levelled against AFL coaching hopeful Daryn Cresswell has been withdrawn.

Despite the withdrawal, I wonder how this will effect his coaching aspirations. It's terrible timing.

I really feel for Cresswell here. Unfortunately too many in society hang those before there is evidence to prove whether said events took place. In this case clearly they didn't.

Must always remember - innocent until proven otherwise.

the women in question has withdrawn., there was prob nothing in it. Big blow up as usual. He might have been a bit tipsy and brushed a breast while walking towards the can???
