These reviews are hilarious. That was LBW. Ball clearly hits Marsh's knee but somehow the drawings make it look like it flies over middle stump.

We need a geometrist to confirm these measurements.

Looks like the pinkie's a bouncy rubber ball.....

Did you see how far forward Marsh was? And how much the pitch is bouncing now? And it hit above the knee on the rise.

Yep, that looked plumb.

I don't claim to be a geometrist but..
I used trigonometrics, google earth, google maps, FOI data and a ouija board and watched the replay.
NOT OUT!

Lucky they use technology hey not just some guy in a booth saying that looks plumb.

Let's get rid of umpires and instincts then. Let the robots make our decisions.

Dude stop being a tool.

I find it funny when dudes think their naked eye is better than technology. I'm glad they use it so more correct decisions are made.

The way you harass old leysy I'm surprised you're so sensitive.

Ever heard of the words: tech faults and rigged?

See that one just know? The snicko showed a movement and yet the 'naked eye' clearly shows space between ball and bat.

Overwhelmingly we get better decisions with technology. Less howlers. Not perfect but much better than the likes Rudi & Bucknor messing things up like they used to.

Did you note how the commentators dismissed the snicko as it was before the bat arrived? Do you understand how they use snicko/hot spot/camera shot together?

Rigged - as in outright cheating? Yeh, sure.

Just shows how *smile* this snicko is. It's just a noise. As 2D as this technology is, at the point it shows a ball touching the bat, it could still be any other noise (i.e. foot shuffling or bat stroking a pad)

That's why they don't use it in isolation.

You don't think we are getting better decisions more often?
