I’m a maxwell fan but not gonna be critical of marsh. Almost 49% of his tests against the dominant side in world cricket and u pick one innings against a minnow as inflating the average?

Maxwell should replace hands comb he’s gonna get exposed for his poor technique eventually.

I’m not really a marsh fan but the criticism on here is crap when scrutinised.

Almost 49%? Are we talking India? He has played 10 against India. 6 of which have been in Australia. 5 of those 6 we have scored over 500 in the first innings.
India in India are a dominant team. India in Australia are not.

Marsh has been given numerous chances. I think it was said he has been recalled to the team 8 times or something.
He has made a good start to the series but history suggests he will not be successful. He has averaged over 50 in a series that he has played more than 1 test in once (out of 6). On the off chance he continues to score runs, he will probably be injured.

Two *smile* reviews by Smith. If it was anyone other than Joe Root, I bet he doesn’t make them. Not the way to use your reviews.

Great fightback by England. Anderson with the ball and Root have been superb. An interesting day coming up tomorrow.

Poor captaincy from Smith after he dropped that catch and before Cummins took the wicket, he completely went to water, you could see the fear in his eyes.

Yes the Aussies lost the plot for awhile but regained composure to get that last wicket.

40% since I quoted his recall after a 2 year abscence.

You used one innings. Now u quote his whole career against india?

I disagree with the above, but we will see in the next few tests.
