Cricket

Would like to see Cummins open the bowling, i reckon Starc bowls better when the balls a few overs old.

Great start by Lyon. I hope he is able to rip them apart.

Interesting hair do Shaun Pollock's got, trying to cover a receding hairline with a barby doll fringe.

Ive come down to check out the vics v nws shield match at the new junction oval, very impressive venue now.

What have they done Tim - and is it just a cricket venue now?

Yeah, so i think the Vics will be playing here instead of the G post christmas and maybe even October id guess.

Theyve put in a new stand at the city end , indoor training nets. The oval is in great nick, theyve kept the 2 old stands and the rest is grassed, reminds me of north sydney oval.

Very pleasant venue to watch cricket.

Heres a pic:

Don't much care what he said.
By all accounts the Australians give it on the field worse than anyone and Warner is the worst offender.
The most sensible tactic would be to ignore him and shut up.

I love Warner as a batsman but I reckon he'd be a pretty ordinary bloke.

I hate judging a bloke I’ve never met, an no doubt his a bloody good cricketer, however I agree, he comes across as a dead set flog.

Interesting commentators talking about Hazelwoods increased pace in recent times, been injury free an getting some continuity has to have a lot to do with it surely, just on that he has to be up there with Holding as effortless looking express pace.

As opposed to Waqar Younis, Shoaib who were high effort bowlers ...... Waqar man how good was he then in tandem with Wasim.

Malcom Marshall was high energy too ...loved the way he held the ball out in front as he ran in.
