Jobs for the boys the continueum of the gravy train for these cretins that have ruined Cricket Australia.

And a salesman to boot. I’m sure we can trust him!

The incumbent is cut from the same cloth as Sutherland and is a flunky of the Chairman. CA will remain an organisation of zero accountability and nepotism.

Agree. They needed to look outside for something be to change the culture. Like labour pre-selecting another union hack.

It's a good thing the women's cricket team are going OK.
The men's side will get a right royal rogering, based on the proposed selections for first test.

Still don’t understand how the appointment of Kevin Roberts spells the death of Australian cricket.

So if he’s cut from the same cloth as Sutherland then surely Australian cricket would’ve died under Sutherland’s regime?

Sutherland (and CA) despite all their faults have overseen a boon in Australian cricket over the last decade with increased participation, BBL, women’s cricket, tv ratings, day/night tests, crowds up.

It’s almost like a few posters here WANT Australian cricket to die......

Australia's XI for first test V. Pakistan:

1 Aaron Finch, 2 Usman Khawaja, 3 Mitchell Marsh, 4 Shaun Marsh, 5 Travis Head, 6 Marnus Labuschagne, 7 Tim Paine (capt & wk), 8 Mitchell Starc, 9 Nathan Lyon, 10 Peter Siddle, 11 Jon Holland

Pretty long tail, starts at #3.

I certainly don't, i'm just bemused that until May this year Roberts was responsible for strategy, people and culture, with Cricket Australia.

The Vic are off to a flyer in their JLT Cup semi final against Wa, after being 2/10 they are 2/71 after 9 overs, Harris 55 off 31.

Looks like they've sown this up. Maddinson 3 wickets, and 58.

Aussie's bowling in UAE.

Mitch Marsh drops an opener. Fielding deep but not on the fence. Should have been straight forward but because he was not in position he stuffed it. What a dopey pumpkin he is.

Won't matter they would likely have got 500 anyway but you just can't do that in these conditions. Why he is fielding in the deep is beyond me, he looks surprised every time he catches one.
