So if he’s cut from the same cloth as Sutherland then surely Australian cricket would’ve died under Sutherland’s regime?
Sutherland (and CA) despite all their faults have overseen a boon in Australian cricket over the last decade with increased participation, BBL, women’s cricket, tv ratings, day/night tests, crowds up.
It’s almost like a few posters here WANT Australian cricket to die......
Of course with a weakened Australian team crowds will decrease (especially against lower crowd drawing countries like SL).IanG said:What are the participation and crowd figures not atributable to BBL? And the BBL was a licence to print money, any fool could have been in charge and it would have been a success.
The performance of the Australian mens team is getting worse, good luck with maintaining crowds and participation with that happening.
