What's with the awkward itinerary this summer. Only 4 tests against India all in the space of 1 month from Dec 6 to Jan 7, and no opening test at the Gabba?

Third T20: SCG, November 25
First Test: Adelaide Oval, December 6-10
Second Test: Perth Stadium, December 14-18
Third Test: MCG, December 26-30
Fourth Test: SCG, January 3-7
First ODI: SCG, January 12
Second ODI: Adelaide Oval, January 15
Third ODI: MCG, January 18

Sri Lanka Men's tour of Australia

Sids!! Funny how he celebrates while Hafeez and Azhar chat like nothing's happened. These review systems are a good laugh. :hihi

Tim Paine looks like a ghost.

I've always wonder why cricketers (and footballers too) wear zinc cream instead of normal sunscreen

Zinc's probably stronger, but Tim's not a fair skin like Jack Riewoldt is.

Starc's cramping to the max, i hope that's all it is. Why do we have an allrounder in Marsh and only give him one ****** over in a days play >:( >:(

Still don’t understand how the appointment of Kevin Roberts spells the death of Australian cricket.

So if he’s cut from the same cloth as Sutherland then surely Australian cricket would’ve died under Sutherland’s regime?

Sutherland (and CA) despite all their faults have overseen a boon in Australian cricket over the last decade with increased participation, BBL, women’s cricket, tv ratings, day/night tests, crowds up.

It’s almost like a few posters here WANT Australian cricket to die......

What are the participation and crowd figures not atributable to BBL? And the BBL was a licence to print money, any fool could have been in charge and it would have been a success.

The performance of the Australian mens team is getting worse, good luck with maintaining crowds and participation with that happening.

Of course with a weakened Australian team crowds will decrease (especially against lower crowd drawing countries like SL).

Still don’t understand how this relates to the death of Australian cricket by appointing Roberts.

Look, I get it it, you’ve got a chip on your shoulder regarding Australian cricket, it’s obvious. So be it.

Not Australian Cricket, Cricket Australia as an organisation.

The garbage season fixture since the BBL has come in has ruined Australian Cricket.

Shield games used to lead into the Test Seies so players could get form.

One Dayers at the end.

Now one day domestic 50 over garbage leads into the tests and last few years BB was on pre Christmas also, so no opportunities to pick players on form or to help them find form.

Guys were getting Test call ups from the BBL.

Australian cricket is in trouble like all other countries.

20/20 hit and giggle in every country paying big bucks and the BCCI have ruined world Cricket.

CA have certainly had a hand in stuffing up the game here also as now has the TV rights $$$ grab.

That wasn't out. Ultraedge was the bat scraping the ground as the ball would've changed direction if it hit the bat.

Cricket has now officially jumped the shark for me. I have now lost all interest, even in Test Cricket. Sad but true.

I know this match looks depressing on tv, but with 75k at the mcg on Boxing Day, with some new kids doing well, hopefully you return to the fold.

I’m an optimist.

Approaching halfway and only ten wickets lost. Maybe if Australia can score 700...

Unlikely now 5-175, will struggle to score 700 for the series.
