Unfortunately. it's a really sad state of affairs isn't it.

CA Really only have themselves to blame, for far too long they've allowed the NSW cricket mafia to rule the game, it seems that if you come from NSW you have a far better chance of getting a game for Australia than if you play for any other state.

A glaring example is Glenn Maxwell, who's a far better player than Khawajar ( Maxie is a better batsman, fielder & can bowl) but Khawajar keeps getting played, where Maxie has been told " you have to prove yourself"
There are plenty more examples throughout the years too.

Please spare me.
I find it extremely frustrating.
NSW seems to be replaced with WA now. They may drop Shaun Marsh (he is 35 after all), although it's doubtful. They won't drop Mitch, even though he hardly bowls and apparently can't bat, because they just made him the vice captain. It is an absolute joke.

It seems to me that Maxie (and Joe Burns) are victims of the 'no dickheads' policy. I wish I knew a bit more, but it's the only logical explanation.

It's a pity they don't apply that policy to the selectors.

Just gotta admit it Aust are sh!t !!!

Hit and Giggle Big Bash and 20/20 has killed Aussie Cricket and Test Cricket world wide.

Australias use of drop in concrete roads as wickets instead of the natural environs the wickets used to provide gave the Aussie players differing pitches to ply their trades on.

Gabba green movement swing bounce, Waca, Fast pace and steep bounce, SCG turn and movement, Adelaide road, Melbourne up and down.

Cricket Australia's admin also have played their part in disenfranchising the Ausssie public from Cricket altogether.

Khawaja is the only batsman in the team who is better than Maxwell, and he's showing it. He's had his troubles in the sub-continent but has played two excellent fighting knocks in this match, albeit on a pitch that looks better on day 5 than any day 1 pitch we get in India.

Hack looked good too and fought hard, although he was stone dead plumb on 44.

Fantastic effort if we can save this, but Khawaja will have to bat virtually all the way through.
