Yep, and apparently Paki captain refused to go for two reviews that would have been wickets. Later ran out of reviews as wasted them. So lucky!

Fantastic by Khawaja and our Captain. Amazing actually.

The latter continues to make Toothless Tim's ridiculing of him look more ridiculous by the minute.

One of the better fighting performances in recent history. Huge. Must have been 20/1 to last the day at the start?

Hopefully be the making of Usman.

The Marsh bros will be on thin ice knowing another failure could (should) be curtains.

Khawaja is the only batsman in the team who is better than Maxwell, and he's showing it. He's had his troubles in the sub-continent but has played two excellent fighting knocks in this match, albeit on a pitch that looks better on day 5 than any day 1 pitch we get in India.

Hack looked good too and fought hard, although he was stone dead plumb on 44.

Fantastic effort if we can save this, but Khawaja will have to bat virtually all the way through.

I dips me lid to Khawajar, well played sir, I'm glad you proved yourself today.
I do however still believe that Maxwell has been hard done by, Khawajar has played 34 Tests & Maxwell only 7, there still appears o be a bias against him.

I’m no fan of the Marshes, but Shaun got a ripper in the 2nd innings.
I've supported Shaun over the journey but he gets out that way two times out of three.

No question Maxwell has been hard done by. Disgracefully so.

Usman was superb. The Marshes will be given every chance, as usual. There are some blokes they drop as soon as they don't perform, and others they keep until they do. Maxwell is one of the former, Mitch the latter.

I've been a Head critic, but he looked very solid, albeit he should have been out on 44.

Ex-Sri Lanka captain Sanath Jayasuriya has been charged by the International Cricket Council with two breaches of its anti-corruption code.
The 49-year-old former all-rounder is accused of failing to co-operate with an investigation by the governing body.
He is also charged with obstructing the investigation by "concealing, tampering with or destroying evidence".
Jayasuriya, a former chair of the Sri Lanka selectors' committee, is regarded as one of the greatest one-day players.
He has 14 days to respond to the charges.

Aussies talking about playing a 3rd quick, after talking about resting Starc bc he bowled too much while talking about dropping MMarsh down the batting order. I reckon there is some sort of connection there.

What a catch from Sidds, through his hands onto his chest, off his nose and back into his hands :clap

Pakistan 8-247, Labuschagne has taken the last 3 wickets and has 3-30 off 9 overs.

There would not be a player in history who has nicked off for a single-digit score in a higher percentage of his innings than Shaun Marsh.
