Hack looked good too and fought hard, although he was stone dead plumb on 44.
Fantastic effort if we can save this, but Khawaja will have to bat virtually all the way through.
I've supported Shaun over the journey but he gets out that way two times out of three.lukeanddad said:I’m no fan of the Marshes, but Shaun got a ripper in the 2nd innings.
No question Maxwell has been hard done by. Disgracefully so.TT33 said:I dips me lid to Khawajar, well played sir, I'm glad you proved yourself today.
I do however still believe that Maxwell has been hard done by, Khawajar has played 34 Tests & Maxwell only 7, there still appears o be a bias against him.
Usman was superb. The Marshes will be given every chance, as usual. There are some blokes they drop as soon as they don't perform, and others they keep until they do. Maxwell is one of the former, Mitch the latter.MD Jazz said:One of the better fighting performances in recent history. Huge. Must have been 20/1 to last the day at the start?
Hopefully be the making of Usman.
The Marsh bros will be on thin ice knowing another failure could (should) be curtains.
