I've always thought the LBW law should be changed so that as soon as the umpire considers the batsman has reversed/switch hit, all the ball has to be doing is hitting the stumps, regardless of where it pitches or impacts.

Heavy rain on the Gold Coast reduced tonight's 20/20 to a 10/10.

Impossible to tell the two teams apart.

The size of grounds in T20 and ODI cricket is a joke. No wonder scoring is through the roof. The Women’s T20’s at the moment are played on grounds the size of the old inner ring at the G.

Any other ex-pats trying watch the current T20 game via Cricket Australia's ipad app?
I've been able to watch the ODIs v South Africa on it - they were not behind the pay wall.
Now when I try to watch this game, it says NO ACTIVE MATCHES - check back where there are games on. Que?
So I checked my subscription because I know I don't have one.
It says "Subscription feature disabled - will be enabled during the Australian domestic season".
Both of these messages are BS imo.

Looks like I am stuck with the Indian pirated streams ... which are almost as good and don't cost a red cent.
CA - get your act together.

Maxwell has just hit 3 sixes in a row, i'm starting to enjoy cricket again. Australia you're forgiven, go you good things :D

After hitting another six Maxwell's next shot hit Spider Cam, would've have been another six. Australia 3/152 after 16 overs, in the T20 Against India.
Damn it's just started to rain.

How bad is the commentary - Brett Lee is woeful. More barracking than anything.

He talks about the bowler and says I don't care if he keeps it there, even if he bowls a wide or 2, its only one run?? Brett, they have to re-bowl the ball!

Reminds me of listening to Richo once commentating a close game of footy. The ball was trapped at the opposition end and they had a small lead. He suggested it would be better to allow them to kick a goal so the ball got out of the forward line. Classic.

Think that was Symonds?

Great we got a win :clap But it looks like the TV rights thing has affected other counties too , In Botswana and all of sothern Africa ( Zim , Zambia ,Namibia ) I could watch cricket from Austlralia on DSTV( african version of Foxtel ) inc Big Bash ..This season its South African viewing only on the broadcasts from Australia :( :( :( :(

That was one of the most absurd pieces of commentary ever.

No, it was Lee, thought it an odd comment too.
Lee's one of those commentators who fails to put his brain in gear before opening his mouth. Commentary showed a distinct lack of Warne last night.

Yeah, it was ordinary. Lee is bland, Symonds adds nothing and Gilly is nice but tries to hype it up a bit too much.

Australia squad
Marcus Harris, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Tim Paine, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon, Chris Tremain, Peter Siddle, Peter Handscomb

Should be able to take 20 wickets in Brisbane.

Runs looks like a huge issue - not surprisingly. Thought Wade was batting well enough to be added to the squad
