Who would you pick instead?

anyone.
i am a Maxwell fan, but his lack of red ball cricket counts against him.
if you want to reward runs probably Doolan,
but i would probably prefer to see a younger bat, such as Renshaw get more opportunity.

Just heard there was nearly 70k at the G the other night an 80% was indian supporters, I think that says a lot about cricket in this country

there were loud too, a LOT louder than any footy crowd i've heard from my joint

Admittedly Im at all our games so I only hear the minnow clubs crowd from home

Tye is a very overrated bowler.

Why can’t we bowl a decent yorker?

The Kiwi's are 8/72 in the 34th over still trailing Pakistan by 340 runs in the second test. Pakistan would have to get very good odds to lose this test match 8-

Was never much of a Clarke fan, but agree that Whateley blaming him for the sandpaper thing is preposterous. Stand down, Gerard.

He didn't blame him directly, and it was in response to Clarke's comments that were stupid given the current climate. Clarke's comments just showed why people were leery of him being named captain in the first place.

While Handscomb has put his case forward in the Shield match, Maxwell has frustrated yet again, with a 35 in the second dig in Brisbane.

He will never get a better opportunity than he will have in the next four months
