Disappointing to here Tassie are chasing titles rather than growing their own aust rep players.

How many of us were in the last test series in India Joan Baez? We do alright.

I think were proving you can do both, unlike the vics :hihi

Cricket Vic and Aus in discussion with Indian investors to set up another BS 20/20 comp here in Aus.

No thanks tell these people to keep their filthy mits outta our game and tell em to get stuffed we dont want these corrupt and inept people with a hand in our domestic competition.

Fair dinkum these people are going to destroy world cricket.

Domestic cricket aint worth much $$$ wise, but to inflate the costs and then fill the domestic sides with international players will destroy the fabric of Australian Cricket and development of juniors.

I follow Victoria not the Melbourne Samosas.

Dead set cricket is on a fast track to irrelevance.

100% on the money Craig.

The shield game is going down the last half hour.

Victoria chasing 284 are 6/234.

Require 50 runs with 12 overs remaining in the day with 4 wickets in hand.

New ball can be taken in 2 overs. Been a cracking match with all 3 results still well & truelly possible.

Cricket is largely irrelevant now IMHO. As a kid, with a dad who played for Victoria, I used to love it. Played it, watched it religiously, etc. Now, you couldn't pay me enough to watch a full day's play of any sort.

Good outright win by the Tigers, on fire in all forms of the game. Could be a big year.

I still love the game, especially playing it, although it's tough work up here in the top end.

On the flip side of all the bad press lately, there is a lot going on with teams fighting for position in the pecking order of test cricket. Were sliding, sth africans are slowly declining again, not sure on the poms, paki's are crap, windies are crap, kiwi's are crap, lankans are there abouts and have some very good young players.

It will be interesting to see who can rise or rebuild to challenge the indians next. They will be at the summit for a couple more years, lets hope their bevy of young guns don't keep them at the top for too much longer, i'm over them as well.

He's a must for 1st test

Depends on the wicket MB, he wont take Hilf, Johnson or Bollingers spot.

But is a very good chance to play ahead of Hauritz if they decide to go for a 4th seamer.

Bollinger may be unfit, anyone heard how he is travelling?

Bollinger has been injured & l still rate Siddle ahead of him even when fit.

Siddle much more reliable than Johnson too.

How Mitch bowls will go a long way to deciding whether we win the series or not IMO. He is very very important...he can win it or lose it for us

Yeah true Phil. never known a bowler to get wickets with such poor balls as Johnson. & he does it consistently.

Siddle needs to get more movement if he's going to have an international career.

Yes off to a flyer Snapper.

4 wins & a washout from 5 games thus far. On fire as you say.

Good game against the Vics, but class prevailed. ;D
