Drop him for Bollinger

Agree. We have carried Johnson for far too long. Virtually played a bowler short today from what I have heard. The pressure valve gets released as soon as he comes back into the attack.

Great first day for the Aussies, but still plenty of work to be done.

Johnson has got ahead of himself & thinks his sh#t don't stink. He needs to go back to state cricket & work hard to get some respect back.

Navy's about to settle in over a red & watch the 2 hour highlights on fox of todays play. Sounds like an excellent days play. The gabba really is condusive to good cricket.

& Well done to Siddle, outstanding effort.

The selectors copped a decent amount from the media, pundits & on here on the team but they were bang on the money with the selections of Siddle ahead of Bollinger & Doherty ahead of Hauritz which many didnt agree with.

They have made plenty of blues over the years but credit where it is due with those selections thus far.

I agree. And Geoff Lawson jam it.

The majority wanted Hauritz gone and Doherty was the logical selection. I'll give the selectors credit when Hussey and North are gone.

I was lucky enough to see McGrath get a hattrick against the Windies at the WACA.

Has anyone else on here seen a test hattrick live?

I was lucky enough to see Warnie's hat trick.

I've now seen two live hattricks ;D I was there at the WACA for McGrath's hattrick, and yesterday at the Gabba for Siddle's! Great atmosphere there yesterday, it certainly felt like the Gabbatoir!

Aussies 0/56,good start, don't think we can lose this test.

Big call MB...we still have an inevitible middle order collapse to come yet, as well as not being able to wrap up their second innings. Still a fair way to go.

Especially with the number of poms wearing those power-balance bracelets. Pace bowlers aren't renown for their intelligence, so that's excusable, but the captain...

Oh dear.
