Can't agree with that bobby. Whilst his form so far in this series has been poor, he did score a hundred just four innings ago against India.
If he bats all day today he manages a reprieve but he does need something special. No doubt the heat is on..

The only way I can see him staying is if he bats to the end today so we go to Perth 0-0.

Fair enough.

Seeing as we're putting guys under the pump..

As a side note Punter has now gone 17 innings without a hundred (his last was his 209 when convicted Paki match fixer Aamer dropped a sitter when on he was on zero) .
This is also his only century in his last 33 innings.

Averaged 40 over the past 2 years. 42 this year. Certainly far from his best. But not horrible either.
 
Crazy referral. Wasnt close.

Could be very crucial on a day where there will be a lot of shouts with Swan bowling.
 
Huge shield game with Katich now out. Especially for Hughes.

Another failure & its very hard to pick him. Runs & he's warm fav to come in.

like i am amazed at the many calling for hughes's immediate inclusion when he is averaging 22 this season, i am amazed at those calling for smith's inclusion as a spinner.
if smith couldn't bat would anyone want him near the side? i doubt it. yet some want to include him as our fourth bowler? i guess the the poms cant really score anymore.
