Mitchell Johnson has reminded everyone that on his day he is the best cricketer in the world.

Unfortunately the MCG wickets have been dead all season, as they have been pretty much every season in living memory, bar the 89/90 greentop against Pakistan. Plenty of work to do yet. Bouncy and grassy should be the order for the last two Tests.

Unfortunately his "days" have been too few and far between in the past few years. Hope his action stands up for the rest of the series and he can continue to create problems for the Poms.

I hope this won doesnt cover oover the cracks of or woeful batting display. Except Huss, Watson and Haddin the others should be ashamed. Time ( again!0 for Ricky and Clarke to stand up. Huss, Watson and Haddin aren't going to do it every game.

Other question mark is on Hughes. Didnt deserve to play 3rd test and doesnt deserve the 4th but on the other hand the selectors will want to slow down the chopping and changing and give him at least 2 games in a row to prove something.

Very true, our batting has been ordinary except for a select few. I guess the Poms have their issues as well- Strauss hasn't been at his best, nor has Collingwood or Prior, so both sides have plenty of improvement left in them. I would be surprised if Pietersen has as bad a test as that again this series.

I'd have thought for his batting as much as his bowling. Great to see him get some wickets, but the pitch was tailor made for him.
l would have thought his bowling got him the mom.Handy knock but it was his bowling that did the real damage.

Anyone know anything about Prior?

From what I see on Tele, I'm not sure if I like his attitude or if he's a tosser

According to the paper the other day: After exchanges between Prior and Johnson and a few others, Prior was dismissed and more was said. Then as Prior walked off, he turned and then offered to settle things with Johnson outside (behind the grandstand). IIRC.

That would have been good to watch

It was Siddle actually. He bounced Prior out then I reckon told him he was scared.

Right you are. Cheers. That's why I added IIRC... couldn't remember if it was Johnson but was too lazy too find the article. ;D I should apply for a job with The Hun.

Gotta love The Sun. Claimed in the article they were considering marriage. They will make up anything.

Yep, so Prior could be a good bloke, or he could still be a tosser

I'm leaning towards good bloke at the moment. Shows some spine

I'm leaning towards tosser. What sort of wanker still wants to sort it out behind the grandstand?
