Clarke shouldnt be going either.

his average of 55 with a strike rate of 80 in 2010 not enough?

his average of 71 with a strike rate of 80 over his last 10 innings not enough?

so S Marsh, who averaged 31, with a strike rate of 71 certainly wont be in the team.

i assume his averages are good enough. what kind of strike rate does he need?

It is probably related to the fact his old man took Hilditch's spot in the test team way back when.

Happy to take Marsh, don't want Clarke.

Agree MB, Test cricket is definately king.

But give navy 20/20 over watching Gossip Girl or Greys Anatomy with the Mrs Navy anyday.

The Big Bash has a bit riding on it which backed by good commentary makes in decent viewing.

Test cricket is still the best but l love watching a good game of 20/20,not much support on pre for 20/20 it seems.
It gets support from me. Kim Hughes captained Australia in the last test match I watched live. Boring as watching paint dry imo . The only cricket i have watched this summer is the KFC big bash and the one International 20/20. 3 hours is a good attention span for cricket I reckon.

50 over cricket is dying , test match cricket is probably going to follow . Get with the program guys , the only cricket of consequence that will be played in 30 years time is 20/20 and I for one am glad. Its what the rich Indians want and they control the game now.

Btw I played cricket for 15 years so I am a fan of the game but I have never been able to watch a test match and stay interested.
