Funny listening to Slater making excuses for Haddin.

Blaming his missed stumpings on the selectors for dropping him for the 20/20. :rofl
but navy it is messing with his mindset!

Seems to me that the selectors have no clue as to our best 15 one day players let alone a best 11.

Rightly or wrongly think its pretty much settled actually JB.

Probably the spinners spot & maybe the last fast bowling spot are the only one's in doubt.

Bit of a disappointing shot from Clarke; he had done the hard work, all he really needed to do was keep turning the strike around. Still in a good position.

Shocking batting tonight by Haddin and Clarke tonight.

Seem to not be able to farm the strike to Watson in Haddins case or in Clarke's case scoring too slow and putting the pressure on Watson to do it all.

Either way, very selfish cricket.

Cricket is all about batting in partnerships Scoop.

Clarke batted exactly how he shoudl have. Sure more boundaries would have been nice, but he kept rotating to Watson. They put on 103 in 19 overs through the middle. Partnerships like that in the middle while facing the POms best bowlers Swan & Yardy will mean you will ALWAYS set your team for a big total.

As much as Navy loves to bag Haddin (his keeping was a disgrace today) 39 off 47 balls is good work when your partner is going.

If Aus fail from here it wont be their fault. They've helped set the team up to cruise home. White & D.Hussey now need to earn their keep.
