Who do you fancy today Navy Boy?l'm thinking of taking the good odds on the Poms.

Dont trust either team so gunna sit this one out mb.

Englands attack will miss their two best bowlers - Anderson & Swann. England also have a couple of average one-day players in their likely top 3 - Prior & Trott. But navy doesnt have enough confidence in Aus's bowling attack at this stage to lay down any moola.

l agree but l might go with the bigger odds

Been raining all morning in Hobart apparently. Covers only off not long before the match.

Looks to be a bit in the wicket early doors so wont be easy batting so good toss to win.

You get on the poms mb?

Another terrible shot by Clarke. Is just so out of form. Cannot be carried into the world cup so out of form.

Lot of seam & bounce in the deck. But as usual on these types of wickets some poor techniques by Australian batsmen haa meant they've been found wanting.

Luckily for Aus's World Cup chances you can get away usually get away with holes in your technique on sub-continent pitches.

You said Hodge shouldn't be picked because he had technique problems that exposed him away from the top of the order.

it is amazing that with question marks over 5 of the top 7, 6 of the top 7 if M. Hussey doesn't make it, we will not pick the best performed batsman over the last few years.

Smith just out to a howler. Another who should not be carried into the World Cup.

I cannot see what the selectors see in him at this point. His footwork is abysmal.

He may have promise but at the moment he is simply not at the required level. Shaun Marsh should have had Smith's spot at number 6 during the tests.

Geez Navy, if you knew this insight why didnt you put your hard earned on the Poms?
