So Paine doesnt play again.

Nothing against Ferguson but surely the guys going to the world cup should be getting games first as these are just prep games for that tournament.

Seems Paine is the first player in history to travel purely as a reserve keeper for a home series. WTF.

Hasnt played a game anywhere in a month now. This after having just two weeks back after 8 weeks out injured.

Serve the selectors right if Haddin or any batsman gets injured during the world cup.

Perhaps the selectors are worried about Hussey and Ponting getting up so need to road test the prospective replacements, especially now with Marsh also injured.

Decent point from you JB.

But if that was always the plan with the callup of Marsh & now Ferguson then why not let Paine at least play a game of cricket in 2011.

At least a couple

Anyone see Warner carry on like a total *smile*head after a massive six he hit last night. Then later carrying on to the bowler Naveed who was 20m away walking back to his mark that required Bailey to step in. No love lost between Warner & Tasmania.

Interesting little tait-a-tait between the injured Brett Geeves & Warner on twitter after the game. Warner who appears a bit of a wanker to navy.

We'll never be able to answer that. What happened to their rotation policy? Haddin or Watson at least could have been rested, especially now that that the series is won (not that that should have mattered anyway)

An extremely reliable source told me that Paine is still suffering from his broken finger from a few weeks back. Touch and go for the world cup apparently.

Craigiebabes agrees with Navy completely Warner is a one trick pony and a wanker.

Dont rate him.

Id much rather see the likes of Aiden Blizzard opening up in 20 / 20 and ODIs than Warner.

It will be interesting to see how Clarke goes tonight. We are in the exact same situation I have been posting about earlier, where I don’t want him in the team. I hope for our World Cup hopes he proves me wrong.

Think its fair enough batting him where he is. Its all about preparing for the World cup ATM.

He'll be batting at 4 there so makes sense he bats at 4 here.

Why do you think they are batting Johnson at 4?

Blatant cheating by Prior. What a dog! Whats Botham going to say about this? Disgusting.

Yep, sprung bad. I have seen that sort of dog-act once or twice in lower grade bush cricket and it's pretty bloody ordinary.

Yeah, that was shocking.

Not sure if you noticed but we are chasing 330 odd.

Still Navy, this is not a great pump up for Clarke. Chasing this many and the field spread this should suit Clarke, push it around and get the others close. I just think it is a pretty clear sign that Clarke can't get you anymore then 3-4 a over. Worrying sign.

dont think it was deliberate. i cant believe anyone would try that in international cricket.
my guess is he didnt feel the stumps as he only just brushed them.
