agree hussey straight back in.
i reckon white will get a few more games to prove his worth. only watson can equal him in regards to the damage he can do to the opposition. they will want to give him the chance to refind form.
if he cant get a score in the next few games he should be out.
i guess D. Hussey will be the unlucky player.
Good point, our most destructive striker when going.

He may not get a crack against Kenya & Canada however so Pakistan game may be his only opportunity.

Kiwis going nuts against Pakistan - scored 103 in the last 6 overs - went from 5/180 at the end of 43rd to 6/283 at end of 49th - amazing hitting by Ross Taylor

Amazing stuff Big Cat. Looked like they would struggle to get 230.

95 off last 5 overs. :o

5/180 after the 43rd to 302 in the 50th - 122 in last 7 overs

Pakistan will be shattered - don't think they will chase that down despite the small ground.

damn was watching and my sister came down and decided they wanted to watch some crap lifestyle show..b****

He had help though Iron Gloves Akmal put him down twice both relatively simple chances especially at international level...Pakis making some after tournament spending money perhaps.

Perhaps ? ? ? ? ? ?

What was it ... ? 92 off four overs, after 6 wickets were down.

Cricket is on the verge of losing any relevance. And I am (or was) what you might call a cricket tragic.

The ICC don't help with their laughable format of the World Cup. While I was watching the otherwise riveting England v South Africa match, deep in the back of my mind was the fact that the result didn't matter. We all know, and have known from the start, who the quarter finalists are going to be.

Pity the poor team who goes through the group stage undefeated and loses a quarter final.

An uninjured Ponting a fair bit ahead of Smith & Hussey IMO although Smith does some great things. De Villiers is fantastic.

Harper the best all round fielder I have seen

hussey saves the most runs in the field per game, ponting the best in the circle and throws the stumps down more often than not. smith brilliant

History could not put this past them. Gotta say that there wasn't a lot of urgency in the Paki bowling but geez the Kiwis smashed it all over.

im not such a huge fan of smith as a fielder. he is athletic and does some great things as a result, he also misses some he should stop, and is an average throw. not a bad fielder but i wouldnt class him as great.

yeah id agree and as i say is brilliant but not the best overall

a great end to the shield regular season today.
both tassie and nsw had to chase down good scores to win, and they both managed to win by a few wickets.
so tassie will host the shield final.

should be interesting. tassie's strength has been their bowling, their batsmen have been a bit inconsistent so there is a good chance for a result, a rarity in the shield final.

Tassie are monties to win the final. Anything other than a win would be a massive under-acheivement.
