"I think if you tell Watson to play this sort of an innings tomorrow, he won't be able to do it. It was his day and if you have noticed it closely, I think seven of his sixes were mish!ts."

I heard Robert Cradock say on SEN this morning that the ground was the same size as the gabba so couldnt be too far off center for so many mishits to clear the pickets.

Frustrating to see Cam White struggle lately, wish he'd just relax & go for it.

Watched the Kings XI Punjab smash Warnie's Royals around the other night. Shaun Marsh made 71 from 42 balls (including three sixes in four balls of Warne) playing proper cricket shots. Must play for Australia in all forms of the game. Huge talent.

If Ponting and Hussey are to continue in the test team they must both bat in the top three rather than hiding down the order and expecting newbies to do the hard work. Hussey made his name as an opener and if he wants to continue he should go back there. I'd like to see a top seven of:

Watson
Hussey
Ponting
Clarke
Marsh
Khawaja
Paine (no way unfortunately)

The bowling is the real worry. We don't have one world-class bowler at the moment, except the two or three days a year when Mitch Johnson's planets align. Opportunities must be given to the young NSW pacemen.

Cricket is the only game where you can have a 3 course meal during play :rofl

Hey didn't Tassie do well :cupgold

Justin Langer reappointed assistant coach to Aussies & Craig McDermott is the new national bowling coach. How the hell did Langer get reappointed?

Didn't Craig McDermott have some dodgy property dealings up north fairly recently and was running away from creditors?

I guess he couldn't do any worse than Troy Cooley did.

First job is to put a ball in Mitchell Johnson's hand and work with him on getting the arm high and the seam straight.

Yep,why do you think he's out of property development?

Interesting decision to select McDermott, Allan Donald made it the last stages as well, he would have been my choice. Good luck Billy, you have some work to do.

Said in the paper today that Sutherland is sitting in on all the interviews as part of the wide ranging review. Find that staggering.

We chose McDermott over Donald :o

Seems Aust. cricket still hasn't hit bottom yet. I suspect we won't until Sutherland goes.

Yep, he has to go for cricket in Aust. to improve, just has to.
