Yes he would be a great laugh to have a soup or two over Snapper.

Also mate, noticed your mate Matthew Day did end up getting a contract with Tas. Youd be happy with that.

See Tas have also signed Victorian Evan Gulbis. Any of the locals know much about him?

My fellow team mate Jezza Smith got another guernsey as well, has extreme pace does young Jeremy. Cuzzalino was meant to come up and join us but thought better of it as heads were rolling at the time he was booked to fly. Bad luck to Jonno Wells on his delistment, had a poor season but is killing it up here in Darwin atm

Wow, QLD have let Rimmington leave and Nannes not offered a contract with the Vic's. Would have thought QLD would have desperately needed a quality bowler in a young team.

White is two paced. Block or slog. No in between. Good to see him gone.

Good to see Shaun Marsh back in the ODI squad. Geez he and Gilchrist had some big innings in the IPL.

I would also hope that the selectors have him in their sights for a test spot.

Twenty20 squad Shane Watson, David Warner, Brad Haddin, Shaun Marsh, David Hussey, Cameron White (capt), Aaron Finch, Steven Smith, Steve O'Keefe, John Hastings, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, James Pattinson.

ODI squad Shane Watson, Brad Haddin, Ricky Ponting, Michael Clarke (capt), Michael Hussey, David Hussey, Shaun Marsh, Steven Smith, John Hastings, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Xavier Doherty, James Pattinson, Doug Bollinger.

Agree on all counts Big Phil.

Excellent well written article by Tasmanian opening batsman Ed Cowan on the upcoming Big Bash League if anyone wants a gander.

Gives a good insight into how CA's priorities are flawed.

Link leysy?

No enemy here. Not in this mickey mouse stuff anyway.

Wont see leysy jumping on a team named Hobart very hard. & the Hurricanes. WTF. A hurricane hasnt come within hundreds of miles of the place.

It does show the ridiculousness of it all when a Tasmanian icon is playing for another team whilst he's still the much loved skipper of his (& our) own state.

How can leysy possibly barrack against cute George.

As a further show of the ridiculousness of the new Big Bash the Brisbane team have signed Wendall Sailor as a player.

Are you serious??? That has to be a joke. Why do they bother. Thsi comp s destined for failure. CAnnot see fans being al lthat keen to follow these makeshift sides. Should be focussing on making the international side better in hte real stuff.
