We are 0/60 at stumps chasing 174.

Sri Lanka look to be in a world of pain here on a good batting strip.

Yep good bowling by our blokes and some pretty poor batting by theirs.

Gee our attack looks a lot better with Copeland, Harris and Lyon in it. They put the ball in good areas and don't give away easy runs. Good to see.

Hopefully with the pitch being a belter, and given the start we have, we should get well over 400 on this wicket.

Shaun Marsh seems to have his head down, righted the ship with Hussey after a couple fell close together.

Marsh looks really good. Simple footwork and hasn't tried to do anything silly.

Same with Hussey. Just plays the game on it's merits. One of my favs.

Yep good test match batting...not trying to score off every ball like some players seem to.

I don't think Marsh will get much sleep tonight as he thinks about a debut hundred tomorrow.

My boy batted beautifully didn't he. As for Hussey, he's like Hawthorn in the late 80s. Every time you say he's too old he wins another flag.

Tony Greig just said he doesn't understand why teams are limited to two reviews. It beggars belief that someone could make a living out of cricket and be such an ignoramous.

If they weren't limited to two, they'd review every decision, so you might as well review them all per default, and each over would take half an hour.

Hussy might be our new strike bowler. 5 overs, over both innings 2 for 2. Now that is good ;D.

When was the last time Ponting has batted at four? I must admit it makes our batting order look better with Clarke at 5 and Hussey at 6.

It is good that we have a captain who appears to have a feel for when to bowl his part-timers.

Not a fan of Clarke, but I do think he willa lot more adventurous than Ricky Ponting.

If only he could be a bit less adventurous with his batting. Yet another soft dismissal chasing a wide one.

He is the king of the soft dismissal.

Does look a better batting lineup. Not that it happened today with him being in early but Punter deserves to drop down to an easier slot like his contemporaries Tendulkar, Lara & Co did much earlier in there careers.

It would still look a hell of a lot better without Hughes in it. Has there been a worse technique open the batting in international cricket?

Khawaja has his faults & has a hell of a lot to learn (especially with his footwork) but is a better bet than Hughes up there.
