Flying down from Sydney for the big game - and wondering what crowd figures PRE members consider realistic.
There has been talk in the media of 70,000+ and with Carlton (and media lap dogs) talking up the Judd hype I can see how they reach that - but
(a) I'm not sure the average Carlton supporter is entirely sucked in
(b) a lot of people head away for Easter
(c) Tigers and Blues both coming off shocking seasons, with attendance dwindling for both last year,
(d) Tigers smashed against Geelong in Praccy game has scared a lot of Tigers fans away (until they see a decent result?)
(e) Blues home game
Hence I'm thinking 55,000-60,000
Any thoughts?
