Crunch Ball Game vs. Magpies

Although I don't believe in the 'crunch' game thing, if there is one this year I think TW will have designated the WB game as it. They thrashed the Tigers the last time, Griffen made some true, if ill advised comments after it and it's right at the pointy end of the season, plus it's TW's old club, Browny's and Patty Bowden's former home as well.

Terry said it wasn't the crunch game because we still believe we're well and truly in the mix at this stage. The crunch ball is more a factor to motivate and inspire and turn things around and we had enough of that after losing to the Hawks anyway.

Where did you hear TW say it Rosy?

In a way I'm glad that TW just used the Hawks game as a motivational factor anyway, also I heard that Tom Hafey was in the rooms prior to the Magpies clash inspiring the lads, can anyone confirm this?

I was on the train. ;D Terry said it in his interview on 3LO after the game.

Regarding Tommy.....

He was on a tape they played before the game at Punt Rd GPB. He and a number of Tiger greats were trying to get the point across to the boys how important the history and rivalry between Richmond & Collingwood. I heard even Sheeds taped a grab for the presentation as well.

Thanks Rosy!

Missing33, thanks for that confirmation, I truely believe that Hafey's presence in the rooms before the game really paid off, as it showed on the ground.
