PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Went to the game on Saturday to see how the Cubs would do against the Swans. Must say they went better than anticipated with a few of the youngsters showing out at times. However, they appeared to be a bit light on and were bullied off the ball by their more senior Swans opponents. They played much better when Kane was on the field but lost their way a bit when he went off for a spell. Jay *smile* was good both up back and forward and Cam Howatt and Brett Delidio were solid all day. The surprise packet for me was Jake King. Worked tirelessly all day, got plenty of possessions and did some great defencsive work that may have gone unnoticed by some. At one stage he was standing Adam Goodes and it was the only time in the game that Goodes was under control. Young Riewoldt looks too light to make an impression at this stage but definite potential. Krakoeur despite being mentioned amongst the best players in some press reports was extremely disappointing and needs to give more as a 'senior' player.
