I feel we have a group of young players who are very close together and have a very good attitude towards winning premierships.
As the trade period looms closer I would like to see us maintain the culture we are building. How about a quiet trade week this time around?!
We are heavily involved in trade week every year it seems and now I believe we are at the stage where the risk of breaking up the character and enthusiasm of the group outweighs the potential benefit of trading an average player for a good player.
Keep the group together, bring in another 4 young Tigers, hold onto our cards in trade week unless we can see a flush, and keep recruiting quality people.
In the long run, the talent of our quality people working towards winning premierships will be so obvious we'll be forced to watch old footage of the 2007 season in order to find something to complain about.
The turn in culture at this club has been nothing short of amazing. Well done to all involved, we're not there yet but I genuinely believe our future is far brighter than teams such as Carlton.
