I think Terry can be pretty happy with his impressiveness rating given the fact that he is a hopeless bungler.

TW was the best coach at the time & we gotta stick fat. Success was never gonna happen overnight.

Who many coaches do we have to go through before we realise there is a cultural problem at Richmond.

We need to change the culture that losing is acceptable.

I remember that the last time Richmond was any good was after Mel Brown got on the TV and stated what a joke and how stale our adminstration was. MAybe we need him back.....

i think they should look at paying the players on perormance only as well as TW make it about passion and not about the future they hold with football. it is still mean t to be a honour to play in the top side not jsut a job. how to turn it around get back to the basics and pay on PERFORMANCE only for the rest of the season

People hate him because he's a meat head and says what he thinks.

I think that's exactly what we need at the club to change the culture.

No more soft c0ck nice boys. We need toughness. We need passion and we need heart.

1994. Our current situation has parallels with 1993.

Another view could be that Wallace has tried to do the right thing by the senior players and give them every chance of playing finals or possibly a premiership, but it is those players who have let HIM down.

It is now blatantly obvious that we don't have the cattle to get the job done at the moment so by playing the older players we are delaying the development of our young players who WILL give the RFC success.

I think Terry has been more than patient but he has shown that when the hard decisions had to be made he is more than capable of making them.

I have a great deal of sympathy for our older players but in the end the RFC exists to win premierships not to give a home to under performing employees. We are not a charity.

It is sad since it is not all the older players fault that things have gone pear shaped. Who can predict Cogs knee and Browns leg? How big a loss are those two!!!!??? Newman's leg was also a huge blow but thankfully he seems to have recovered. Things may well be different if those injuries had not occurred but they did and that's life.

I go with RROFO's comments.

Wallace has given the senior boys 3 years to get their acts straight.

Nearly all of those senior boys have let him down this year.

Whether by injury, form or breaking of team rules everyone of our players over 24yo has let Terry down.

Brown, J.Bowden, Johnson, Tivendale, Kingsley, Richardson, Simmonds, Krakouer, Pettifer, Newman, Tuck, Coughlan, Hyde, P.Bowden, Hall & Knobel.

That's 16 players, not one of them better than the other.
They are no longer boys, so 2 steps forward, one step back is NOT appropriate in their case.

What upsets me most is that the admission of one of our most respected senior players that he tried to entice one of our junior players to break team rules on the football field.

That's not acceptable at any level.

We spoke about leadership at Richmond extensively at Coburg yesterday, watching tomorrow's stars, and the more I heard the angrier I got. >:(

To me, the onus is on Greg & Terry now.
Either they let the poor culture of the senior players ruin everything they've worked for over the last few years, or they draw a line in the sand and cast off those who aren't prepared to show the correct example.

Care to name names and give the example.

there has been a suprising swing against wallace after the result last night.

i wonder if it is due to people being unhappy with the general situation or do they believe that Wallace cost us the game?
