He played hard, won flags at Essendon and Port.
Coached at Port when they won their flag, and went to Hawthorn to help Clarkson win theirs.
He is the perfect fit, a no nonsense, down the line bloke who unlike Wallace will make the hard calls and make our players as hard as cats heads.
Took no crap as a player and told Essendon when interviewed for their senior coach after Sheedy that their list needed rebuilding. The bombers didn't like hearing that so gave Knights the gig.
