Don't compare the kid to Houli.
Houli would've been out of the gane 3 years ago, but because he is at the Richmond retirement village he will be here till his legs fall off.

Houli, Grigg, Morris, Batchelor, Chaplin...................... not the solution FOR YEARS , just part of the problem. And these were just the guys gifted games for years by Hardwick.

Very well said. Didn't see any corralling either - my pet hate and one thing the Tigers are elite at doing

Exactly.
Yet people wonder about our development.
Development hampered by Hardwick's appalling selections.
That is down to the senior coach.

defies belief doesn't it. A bit happening around the club at the moment but my crystal ball says bottom 4 next year. ( I picked 8 wins and finishing 14th this year).

Today marks a historic turning point in the recent history of the club.
Our dearest Benny did say, "ultimately this review has identified the need to get the right people in the right roles.."
Incredible stuff from our CEO.

Benny was appointed CEO, 10 August 2009, today being 12 September 2016 a grand total of SEVEN years in the job.
The pennies finally dropped.
Yes Benny we need the right people in the right roles.
A fundamental "no brainer" that any undergraduate would know, yet its taken you SEVEN years.

All those years of stonewalling and denial about the football department.
All those years of saying, "on going reviews are taking place".
Simply not true.
All those years of porkies to the membership.
It didn't have to happen.
If only you had listened.

But of course there's an elephant in the room.
That elephant is Hardwick.
Another of your poor calls, Benny.

Finally a step in the right direction, after SEVEN years.
The appointment of someone with experience and a good track record.
At long, long last Benny you have made a good appointment.
There must be a footballing God after all.

Long way to go yet Tets, but I am supportive of the appointment. The rest smacks of blinkered nepotism to be honest.
