Dimma Football Club. Paying two GMs of Football, EY review, restructuring, sacking assistants, hiring heaps of new expensive ones - all for the purpose of saving Dimma rather than the RFC.

Saving Dimma thus saving face. Benny and Peggy are putting their reputations and credibility ahead of the club.

It is bitterly depressing to watch a minnow club like the dogs succeed, whilst we Tiger faithful have a potentially volatile and painful 2017 ahead. All because a bunch of incompetent and gutless clowns want to keep their mate Handbrake in a job!

Gale made mention at a Sydney post game event that we'll probably make a loss this year and next years forecast isn't looking good.
Only 4 clubs will make a profit this year out of 18. The expected loss is small from what i heard.

At the end of last year the club had nearly $25 million in net assets including zero debt and over $4 million in cash. The financial position is the least of our worries

I’m still utterly and completely baffled as to why this coaching incompetent who admits publically that he prefers a stayed, counterproductive, outdated mode of football; with disastrous results for all to see, is still the head coach at the RFC?

All I’m reading and seeing from the club is the creation of “systems and getting the right support staff” behind and around this failure with the idiotic belief Hardwick will somehow turn into a visionary A grade coach.

Find the money, get rid of him and move on with a new head of football that has a lot of credibility in Balme, a new head coach and a selection of hand-picked assistant coaches and start our attack on the 2017 season now.

As for the playing list; that will be assessed by a new coaching regime; and what will be will be? It cannot and will not be as bad as what the current coach, his assistants and the playing list dished up in the 2016 season.

Outstanding post. You should post more often.

Unfuckinbelievable isn't it?!

Morris answering Richo on what Bevo's strengths are?

"He gets all his players to play to their strengths and tells them to concentrate on their strengths"

A simple statement to demonstrate the gulf between a good coach and our sad pretender.

Exactly.

More than enough money to pay out Handbrake.

Listen to Beveridge and Clarkson speak.

Then listen to Dimma's cliched dribble.

The man is out of his depth!

Was thinking the same Oldie.

But if you don't actually know what you are doing you are going to spout cliches.

Clarkson talking about the evolution of the game that they need to change their style for next year. Dimma trying to perfect hawks 2008 game plan.

The Western Bulldogs, on and off the field, are a worthy benchmark for the RFC. But so far since the end of the 2016 season I've heard only excuses as to why the club should keep a FAILED coach who over seven long years has compiled a lazy, pea hearted list of footballers who are too comfortable in the environment Hardwick has created down at Punt Road. If Hardwick is not replaced, and I don't care who the club puts around him to guide him to coach better, 2017 will be a miserable year.

The only noise I want to hear coming out of Punt Road over the off-season is grunts and groans and then more grunts and groans. The Doggies wiped Hawthorn off the map with relentless contested footy, the ability to run (not walk) to position while putting their bodies on the line for their team mates and came back for more. Under Hardwick that aren’t going to happen, so why the hell is he and his failed strategies still here?

Not at all. I was just asking a question to see if any of the ferals were prepared to take a position without the benefit of hindsight. None did which wasn't surprising.

Considering you posted it all of 30 minutes before they demolished the Eagles not sure what you were expecting sunshine.

10 people to sit on autopilot waiting for you to post so we can auto reply in that timeframe?

Still doesn't resolve the issue that we don't seem to be a good enough team to play any type of game system to elite level.

Didn't read past here sorry.

Dimmer only has one system.

The rest was your usual incorrect waffle.
