Pointless.

The runner would get the message, run toward the player for whom the message is meant for, stop, look backwards, run sideways, and then deliver the message to someone in the crowd in the forward pocket.
But apparently he is delivering the messages better than last year

The bloke is not going to say anything that will appease everyone's anger. At least I can see he is hurt, he is honest, can't ask got much kore out of a press conference.

Exactly, I thought his presser was very honest...

Re: Damien Hardwick

As a senior coach, this guy is a complete shitcart. Deer in the headlights. He has done a good job as a development coach but it is very clear he has reached his zenith.

*smile* this *smile*; this season is an absolute *smile* disaster. He needs to go. He is a dud lover and he is reaping what he has sowed.

He just has no idea anymore. He is a poor coach and he picks poor players. Ergo the results.

Look at the D*CKHEADS he has surrounding him. Nuf said.

I've been saying the same for the past couple of years.

Worst coaching panel ever assembled.

He's gotta go. We can't accept this anymore. The longer this goes on the further behind we will fall.

Hand in the keys Dimma. It's the most respectable thing you can do.

He's an easy target for you blokes, but he doesn't drop the marks, he doesn't fail to man up, he doesn't always kick to contests, he is not the lazy runner. I am no big fan but tonight's pathetic performance was not his fault.

*smile*.

It's been lost up in the box most weeks. Also, during the offseason and throughout the week.

It makes me sick.

You can just tell that someone has no idea in the way they present themselves.

Re: Damien Hardwick

Also, I found it very disturbing that the players felt Dimma needed to "just whack blokes" when they got out of line.

*smile* alright. It'll be his downfall.

Re: Damien Hardwick

If there is a mid season break for the Tigers, sack Hardwick and ask Jake King & Chris Newman to coach the remaining season out (Lol)
Andrew McQualter can do Player Development... or prepare BBQ'd Chickens in Swan St.
This Team is a rabble of the highest proportion.
Oh... that's right... not embarrassed at all.

Re: Damien Hardwick

DH started his presser with "fire away", I could not agree more. He also used the "M" word which has been mocked on this site in recent months.......... MEDIOCRE,
yes DH, Richmond is a very mediocre team, maybe the delusion is finally coming to an end at last.

Re: Damien Hardwick

Just checked the presser -- the tone was one of complete frustration at the players.

No sign that he takes real responsibility, despite the obligatory buck stops with me comment.

Re: Damien Hardwick

Tigerland is a confusing mess at the moment and there appears to be no real leadership being shown among the players and the coaching staff.
2014 is proving to be yet another year of frustration and despondency.
Where oh where is Leigh Matthews' clone?

Re: Damien Hardwick

Just a question, does *smile* pick his assistants or does/did Richardson have a voice in the panel. None of the guys instill any confidence except perhaps Daly, as our forward line actually worked when he was forwards coach all those years ago.

Is Dimma surrounding himself with "Yes Boss" men?

Great idea, the club should give him a direct access to them telephone sex line things on gameday.

Spudwick should be able to get some sort of decent inspiration from them.

Not for *smile* has lost all desire and passion

Re: Damien Hardwick

Hey Dimma, Miles got 35 possessions yesterday, Helbig 26, and Petterd 20 after coming on in the second half, do you reckon they might be able to squeeze their way into the side next week.

Yeah, that one is completely on the players, but at the end of the day the coach is the one that has to wear it. I don't know what happens week to week at the place, but he seems to have lost them if they're serving up crap like that and expecting it to be acceptable. He's taken us as far as he can and we need to look for someone who can progress it beyond that.

Dimma played like Tarzan, but coaches like Jane.

So he was responsible for players not running hard enough, not kicking in space to targets, our kicking at goal?
He did that did he?
Thought his presser was spot on.

Players weren't hungry enough and the Bombers, like ALL clubs put everything into OUR GAME.

When i say he coaches like Jane, he has been letting the same players responsible for your above comments to get away with it for too long.
I want him to coach like he played, be tuff and ruthless. He should drop a few players, even though i thought he was a bit better last night, Chaplin should have been dropped a month ago. Who knows Elton might come in and not panic.
