Did enjoy his contest with Priddis I think, out on the wing/hf line where Jacko just brushed him off, picked up the ball casual as you like and sent it forward.
He's a strong boy now Dan that's for sure.

Trying not to be critical of Dan, however my issue with Dan's new run with role is that he has let his opponent find it 28 times, now Priddis is not exactly a Goddard with his disposal, however if Dan continues to let better users of the footy have it that many times its really going to hurt. Very much like his improvment , however has to go back to a more shut down role on better players

Agree. Thought Priddis was the Eagles only winner.

Perhaps one could argue that Priddis, despite getting 27 disposals allowed Richmond's number one onballer Jackson accrue 23 of his own disposals.

Not to make excuses but Jacko's just had 3 games off and looked a little off to me.
I am not a big fan of Dan's (disposal is ordinary imo) but was just highlighting that particular contest which I enjoyed at the time.

I would be so nervous with Abott wearing lycra.

He likes to show his "bulge" off doesn't he our soon to be PM....

Interestingly, in a recent Footy Record, there was an interview with (IIRC - but may be wrong) Andy Collins. In response to the question - "Which of your teammates is most likely to enter politics?" he said Jacko.

A great game from Jacko yesterday.
No one trys harder than he does.
He tackles his heart out, two tackles in quick succession yesterday gave us some good momentum going into 3/4 time. The first caused a ball in, and then the next won him a free kick, in which he kicked long into the forward line, white got possession and kicked it to the goal square where Jumping Jack took that team lifting mark. We went into 3/4 time on a real high after.
Keep up the good work Jacko!!

Marking and disposal was not great yesterday but had AFL leading 13 tackles

For the year he is ranked 9th in the AFL for tackles and 1%ers, and 14th for clearances. Does his job.

Pretty good numbers considering he missed 3 weeks due to suspension.

If Richmond played Sydney 22 times a year DJ would be a All Australian.

No team's game style suits him more.

This is how I always hoped Jacko would be perceived. We have enough quality around him that Jacko is no longer doing everything himself and getting BOG week after week. But he does what he does best and he's helping the team. He's a solid member of the squad and he'll remain that way.

Might not get many Brownlow votes and may not be listed in our best as often as he has in the past, but he'll be an integral part of the team.

Turnovers are still shocking but no doubt he tries his heart out. Still don't know about his long-term future.
