There seems to be a lot more in that catergory IMO.

Nice....like that !!! :rofl

and he's not the only one who gets that treatment either around these parts.

he probably failed to answer it because it cant be answered. jackson doesnt play for collingwood so we will never know.

if we asked the same question of collingwood players getting a game for geelong in 2009 how many would you say would have? maxwell? o'brien? shaw? presti? brown? davis? johnson?

would you think a guy delisted by melbourne would get a game for the reigning premiers?

the would player x get a game at club y is one of those stupid unanswerable questions asked as if it proof player x is no good. means nothing.

Ofcourse it can be answered ...... you just have to type YES or NO !!!!

The question is very very simple ....would he get a game for Collingwood ?...... if you just take the 5th then I'll assume that your answer would be NO.

I personally don't believe he would, then again Brodders, just so it doesn't sound like I'm slagging on the guy, I don't believe to many Tigers would at this time to be honest.

of course it can be answered, but noone here has even the remotest idea what the right answer would be.

I'll put you down for a "No" too then Brodders.

I'm gonna guess you don't sit on the match commitee of your local club on a Thursday night and help pick the team too if thats OK.

My eyes are the only stats I need thanks Colonel.........the most overused word in todays games.

Contested ball ? ...... what does that exactly entail by the way ?

Once upon a time there was nothing BUT contested ball in a 120 minute game of Footy.

The way its played these days its far more a game of "keepen's off", so that contested ball crap is totally overated and is for all those Fantasy football geeks moreso than coaches......... like Malthouse doesn't know what he's looking for in a player and needs "stats" to tell him what he just watched !!... yeah, right.

If he's like so many others in this team that "excel" at so many facets of the game that matter, explain to me how we continue to dwell at the wrong end of the ladder year after year Colonel ?

Why aren't we playing Finals Footy at the least if we have so many that "excel' ?

You're entitled to your opinion Jackfrost, you obviously are very passionate about it. Yes, you did catch me in a spelling mistake, well done.

Reading the last few pages, one would never believe that we all support the same club.

I think some people will settle for nothing less than our entire team of 21 players all being out and out superstars.... It simply can't be the case.. Even with Collingwood....
Players like Jackson or Foley or Newman just work f'n hard all game.. They'll never get the recognition of being superstars.. They do anything incredibly flash.. But like a few people said, any opposition coach/players would be stupid to underestimate them when looking at their game plan..

When it all comes together for us, guys like these are going to be held in high regard at our team... Others players will take the glory, but without these guys like Jackson and Newman, it would just be a team like Gold Coast with Garry Ablett and a couple of other superstars, and 17 others players running around who can't play footy...

Geez, even I've never said that. Jackson is Judd-like compared to Polo.

Leysy and scoop didn't seem to agree with that.

Negotiate the banner eh............Now if that's not the silliest assumption of people I've read, it goes close.

Must admit I thought Polo would have been a better run with player, no excuse but he certainly didnt get the oppurtunitys Jacko did, may have been cause he was no good ;D

For me the thing with Jacko is the player he usually lines up on is of more value to there midfield then he is to ours, this is why I would love to see him go back to his ultra defensive role as we now have a much more skilled midfield around him an each week we get cut up by an oppositions midfielder

Re: Daniel Jackson

As annoyed as I have been with a RFC leader, Jacko will probally cop 3 , wont happen however I would give him a couple of weeks at Coburg after that, another undisiplined act by him , that could have cost us the game when we had the momentum......Pathetic Jacko

Re: Daniel Jackson

Yep cc, may cost jacko a fair bit. Pressure is on for a spot in the side and not sure jack will get back barring injury

Re: Daniel Jackson

Not a smart move by Jacko , im thinking 4 weeks considering his record , damn shame he has alot of talent ,just make some silly mistakes :( :thumbdown

Trade for whatever we can get.
Cannot afford to have a so called leader continually having brain fades time and again.

Dimma was publicly critical of Jackson of this last year.

Should've been traded a few years ago when he still had some value. Thick as sh!t footballer. Only marginally smarter than *smile*.

Re: Daniel Jackson

I struggle to acknowledge him as a footballer sometimes as he is sooooo slow of mind which is ironic considering he is supposed to be a scholar. Dusty is the exact opposite. We can do without Dan.

Re: Daniel Jackson

Jackson is an important player going into the future. Trade him? what rubbish.

Yes what he did today was totally stupid and we are going to miss him. He is our best tagger and does a bloody decent job. He gives his all every week and gets up the noses of the other team. For too long we've played like pussies and its about time we have a player that loves to throw his weight about.

You bunch would nail Jesus Christ to the cross again if you had the chance to.

Re: Daniel Jackson

Extremely cheap shot by Jackson. Can only be assessed as intentional and you are in real trouble when that happens. At least 3 weeks and could be 4 or 5.

Tuck will more than ably take his place. Jackson should come back through Coburg.
