Truth is its probably a good decision for both parties. If Danny continues on at the rate he has shown lately he will also put himself in line for a nice little contract at the end of next year. And the club will be in a better position to pay him what he is worth as well.

Good result all round.
 
Great news, what makes it even better is that I was looking around BLOS the other day and there's this clown from Adelaide who claims to have played for the same club as Danny saying that he's homesick and will be heading back at the end of this season.

But why not give him a 2yr contract and if something happens between now and then surely a former #12 pick would still have enough currency to attract other clubs.All this does is go through the same process again in 12mnths time.But the real issue for me is to whom asked for only a 12 mnth contract.

I think that Jackson is really under the pump, he'll struggle to get a gig next year me thinks.
Roachy when he gets match fitness in the vfl he'll go ok. I thought he was about to really turn the corner before his injury.
I like Harts but i'm confused why he is not playing? Must be another issue behind the scenes.
 
Hmmmmmmm........Hartigan as trade bait, maybe we could swap picks with essendon to get higher and get that bloke in checkside's avatar?
