Danny Meyer - What's Up

Boris Yeltsin said:
Danny needs a big boost in confidence. Being down on confidence and self belief can drag down any footballer.

How he gets this confidence boost I'm not sure.

Danny needs a big boost of McDonalds, KFC and Hungry Jacks all in one.

He will probably get another chance but at this stage he'll be gone at season's end.

Rubbish.
He is too young to write off. Some kids just take a year or so longer to get there. In a few years time when he might well have played 100 games, the extra year or so at the start will not seem so significant.

what was he drafted for, a midfeilder/ forward?

Midfielder.
Perhaps someone in the know can answer me this..
What were his stats like in the junior carnivals? Did he he get much of the football then? Was he a goal kicker?
Basically on what basis was he drafted by TW at 12 in 2004?

mb64, how many people do you seeing delisted, and who do you seeing going before Meyer?

I'd say we'll delist 4-5, maybe trade for 1 or 2 more, depending on how many early picks we can get.

If that's the case, I'd imagine, we'd lose Howat, Gaspar, Hyde, Krakouer, Moore, probably Hall and Knobel before we'd think about Meyer.

I'd actually keep Meyer,my view is TW is not convinced about him & thus we might try & trade him at the end of the year if things don't get better for him.

Meyer did not get a lot of stats as an U18 player either, but what he did get what class.
We just need him to get more kicks and handpasses.
Easier said than done.
