I've been one of these supporters who has been waiting,waiting, waiting for some sign from Danny to hit his straps. My conclusion after tonights game is that he is not AFL material. Doesn't matter how good he kicks the ball, he just does not get it enough. Basically, against Essendon tonight we were playing with 21 players.
Great kick to set up Tambling in the first quarter.........but nothing after that. Did not fire a shot!!!!
If we can trade him to Adelaide or Port Adelaide for a 3rd round draft pick we will be lucky.
I'd love this thread to come back in 12 months and prove me wrong, but I can't see it happening. Danny is just not cut for AFL. Really sorry to say that.
