I reckon this bloke is worth a punt.Showed something at West Coast but has struggled at Cats.Still only in mid 20's & in my view is worth a late pick.Thoughts?

Cant believe you think Pettifer is soft but would like David Haynes in our forward line MB. Pettifer might be soft as butter, but Haynes is butter thats been out in the sun all day. He does lead well, but doesnt hang onto his marks. Pass.

Very similar to PAt Bowden and Pettifer mb.

Not a bad mark but he can only play hff.We have more than enough of them.
Lets see how many goals the above 2 kick next year.
What would you consider a fair return from the 2 of them then MB??
Good question Zips,I'II come back to you.

Busy day at work today Mega Bucks? :hihi Looking forward to your thoughts on this one. ;)

Doin the sums on the trusty abacus there Mighty Boy :hihi

Haynes? 3 games in 2005 (rds 13,15 &19 - the high state of injuries period). Averaged 8k, 3h, 5m, 1t and 1g. Not much to get excited about, but then again a few we had didn't get those stats either ;)

If Wallace rates him, would rather get the small quick defender in Greene from Hawthorn that Wallace wants.

Isn't Greene from hawks the bloke who runs fast, gets the ball sometimes & misses targets consistently, I thing we already have some of them. Well maybe the runs fast bit is wrong :hihi :hihi

Surely we would not be contemplating getting green ??? ??? For gods sake. As for Haynes - pass, just not good enough. We have to start aiming for guys that are better than just average at very their very best.

Greene-pass,looks like I'm being out voted on Haynes.Fair enough.

Say no to David Haynes ..and Ben Haynes for that matter! I'd be more interested in Cameron Thurley who is on the un-contracted list. He only played a few games but he kicked goals in every one of them. Because he's from the Tassie Devils VFL side he doesn't rate with Thompson. He's one of those "first to be dropped" players ie a scapegoat.

He's quick on the lead and does hang on to some marks. Jumping seems to be the problem. He's stronger than P.Bowden. A lot stronger.

I suspect he's played his entire career up the wrong end of the ground. Probably too late to find out.

He was an exceptionally bad piece of recruiting by Mark Thompson. Bomber has shown himself to be something of a benchmark in dud picking. Don't forget that he made a huge play for Jade Rawlings. Keep up the good work, Bomber. :thumbsup
