There is nothing more intimidating than attacking the footy (not player), and moving the ball quickly, supporting teammates, pressurising the opposition when you don't have the ball, and winning a gf by 119 points. Even C Mooney had the sense to tone it down. Mongrel is overrated in modern footy.
Is anyone else surprised to hear David King on 3AW tonight when the team have flown out to Perth today ? I believe he is a full time paid coach of the Club and I would have thought he would be flying over with the players...road trips are an important bonding experience and he could be spending time with players on the flight/attending meetings/training etc....Even if he goes over tomorrow he will have missed out on some of these opportunities...
I understand he may be watching the Bulldogs, who we play next week, but he will be concentrating on special comments from the commentary box where as a forward scout should be fully concentrating on making notes on every aspect of the game during the entire game...do we have a dedicated forward scout ?
Maybe I am becoming far too frustrated at everything but I just found it odd that he is on 3AW tonight ahead of flying out with the team today...especially in such a critical time.
Also does anyone know if we get fined for dropping Bowden out of the named 18 ??

My guess would be dropping somebody out of the starting 18 is no different to any late withdrawal.
On King pretty sure he has a deal with the club an his media role,but you bring up a valid point........................Bucks wouldn't put up with that *smile* ;D
