Rodan benefits at port because of their classy midfield.

He would not have the same luxury at tigerland, at least not this year.

Yep agree. Funny we're talking about him this week. Rodan had 6 possessions in 3 quarters on the weekend, 13 all up. The week before he had 9 possessions. 12 in the first match and 10 in the second. Has had 3 good possession games in between. Not really good enough for a midfielder. Surely we don't miss him that much to warrant all this discussion.

Right now he has got a bit of tendonitus in his good knee, he was supposed to miss a game or two recently but choco has been afraid to drop him. He only got a few possies against the bombers this week but gee, just about all of them were damaging in some way, most of them were probably clearances. I don't look into it too much, the break will do him a world of good.

I do believe its the ruck's that make the difference in his game, doesn't seem to get caught as much either.

To be honest, Rodan was not performing particularly well when we last had him. He always seemed to be a guy who could be around for a few years as a crafty forward pocket, but eventually he would be gone. Plus, he had a knee reconstruction and he was out of contract, so it was the right time to get rid of him if at all. To his credit he has worked hard since his knee reco and now has blistering pace and a solid midfield body. Good luck to him in his years with Port.

Rodan had 4 clearances 3 from the centre bounce and 1 contested possession. If his knee is causing him issues then that might be a plus for the Tigers letting him go. I don't have any doubt we have the young players in the team now and in the future to cover a Rodan-type.

Fair dinkum are people still wasting time bleating over Rodans departure ffs.

No loss - get over it.

Rodan himself agreed that RFC did the right thing to delist him on form.

He is too often hot & cold in his performances.

He is now performing for Port & I don't think they will release him.

Why do some supporters continually look back when we should ALL be looking forward???? ???

Its over. Its done with. Lets please move on.

Its not like the guy is a *smile* en superstar.

He was out of contract coming off a knee reco and the powers that be and most of PRE rated Krakouer ahead of him,

I think you'll find he had year to run on his contract, he held out for two years when Miller wanted to give him only one, in the end he got the two but was given the flick after the first.

Yep more Miller incompetance.

Rodan did not deserve a 2 year extension, he'd done nothing and also just come off a reco.

Ludicrous management that was.
