If we want Judd we have got to satisfy Judd and the Eagles.

If we get Judd we shaft Carlton in the process. It would be one of the sweetest wins ever :hihi

Thats the thing. We wouldn't be shafting Carlton at all. They would be shafting themselves. Which would be even better given all the tanking they did to get the No.1 pick in the first place.

maybe we should stop letting everyone know we can afford him under the salary cap. Carlton are more likely to be unreasonable and push him in the PSD if they think we can't take him.

Ideally look after our own best interested AND screw Carlton at the same time.

Notwithstanding the fact that that Carlton screwed us out of No.1 pick, I personally don't care what happens to either Carlton or West Coast, it's all about the best outcome for the RFC. In that all is fair in love and war. The only line I would draw would be about making a pledge and not coming through with it ie we get Carltons third pick on the promise that we won't select Judd in the PSD. If we went ahead and selected him anyhow our word would be dirt in the football world ,whatever future success we may have on the field as a consequence would be tainted (far more than simply tanking which frankly is just common sense) and basically it would just be morally wrong.

To me the best outcome would be we get Carltons pick three and seriously start re-building for the future whilst Judd goes to Carlton and takes them out of priority pick territory leaving West Coast with nothing. But again not because I hate West Coast, but because that would be the best outcome for Richmond.

Judd is the best player in the game... dont under estimate how much of an influence he would have across the entire team! Why rebuild when u have the best building going around!

Deal with Carlton , let him go thruogh to them in the psd and we get #3 pick as well . we get two of the best juniors in the country

agree, pick # 2 and #3 and we set ourself up for 2 kids,with hope 10 year players.
