PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

the pettifer thread has had me thinking about defensive forwards and crash bash players in our forward line. over the yrs we have had neither.

a recent forward line set up of krakouer schulz stafford
brown richo brown

it realy has been the land of the dinosaurs and turtles. wheres the mongrel who has opposition looking over the shoulder you know someone like hamill . wheres the quick solid little man who harasses and harasses and still kicks his share of goals maybe chapman or davey. wheres the kpp who can bust open packs who is quick on a lead and loves to throw his weight around, brown. we dont have one player on our list who fits any of these descriptions.
i have quite often thought jake king would do well as a defensive small forward might have to work on snagging goals.

have a look at our potential forward line this yr.

brown richo hughes
riewoldt pattison pettifer
others who may play there newman morton deledio geez theres not one accountable player among them theres no mongrel and in the main its still tortiseville.

imo richo and brown are certs to play in the forward line. i think its important both pattison and jack are developed there as well. this gives us 3 talls a clever medium in brown. whats needed to round it of is pace and aggro king. and a hamill type.just to help the boys stand tall.

any way this is a bit rushed have to go out any thoughts on this.
