Hypothetical...
If Deledio wants out (a big if I know...) we'd want a top 10 pick (if not top5).
Hence we'd be talking to melb, freo, north, wc...
Now - with melb in line for picks 1 & 2 - could we offer Deledio for pick 2 and potentially take two super talented kids -potentially a Lucas/Trengove/Morabito/Stevens...
Now - the rationale...
With Deledio - its the devil you know...
But if melb took Deledio - they would probably (by my logic) then look to take a key position at 1. Potentially opening the draft up to a scully / trengove combo...
Far fetched? Probably... But I'd take that!
