Can I just say Pharace that back in 1995 we had a shaky start to the year.....and it all panned out (up to the preliminary final)Im not a dreamer but lets see where its headed after round 8....Im confident the tigers can get over the precious pups this week-end!this week-end eh!

Perhaps you are thinking of 1994 Nitro.....in 1995 we won our first 7 and were 11-1 after 12 rounds!!

So we lost the first 2....so what?
Just means we go into the finals with a 20-2 record and a 20 game winning streak under our belts....if anything, we should be happy so we can all get good odds on the Tigers before everyone else jumps on. ;D
Look at the positives, people. :)

Seriously, .....we are 1 game behind where the majority of us expected us to be.
It just means we have to win a game (similar to us beating the Hawks last season) that we are not expecting to win.

I'm more concerned with the WAY we have played...from the NAB Cup to now has been somewhat worse than last season and far worse than what I expected.

If we lose to the dogs then I will be gutted and I would say it would be the writing on the wall sort of stuff and forget about finals this year.

LOL at TW saying he was more gutted after the Geelong game than after the Carlton game. Note sure about anyone else but I was far more gutted after the Carlton game for two reasons. One, because I was happy to get close to Geelong and didn't really expect to beat them (compared with Carlton who I genuinely thought we could beat). Two, because we were competitive against Geelong and totally non-competitive against Carlton and any 80 point loss is gutting.

Agreed. I found that almost hilarious.
lol at Terry saying that wasn't us too.
Um yes it was Terry, let me remind you Carlton embarrassed us last game up too.

This week was just another loss.
Until the wins start to come against genuine finals contenders not much has changed at all.

Hawks are 0-2, do you think they are out of the finals race?

We have played 1st and 3rd favorites for the flag, don't hit the panic button yet.

Ok, now I'm gutted even more than last week...if that's possible !

FFS, when does this nightmare end?

I thought I couldn't get any more gutted after Round 3........

I was wrong !

Amazing how the players are always teflon coated and it falls back on the coach!

Must be the only paid job where you under-perform and the employer can't touch you with a 100 foot pole!

Argh, the precious, sheltered, totally protected lives of current day footballers!

What a gig!
