Did anyone else notice Pattison in the Box

Yeah I saw him. He looked devestated when Will went down with his knee.
 
Yeah good education for Patto - will know to lift his expectations I think! That'll be good thing.

Hudson as a runner at RFC - sheesh - now there's another person that the players can respect and identify with - what was it - one game with RFC. Still my all-favourite nickname is the one thrown at Johnstone - the Abdominator.

Our runners are a puzzle to me - yes they had careers - that's not my puzzle, but that there isn't more adequate people available is.

most running he's ever done for Richmond
 
Forget about Hudsons illustrious career at the Tigers and look at his overall career, as a mid sized forward he was as good as any. As for Wayne Johnstone............... they didn't call him the dominator coz he was a dud.
If Plough has bought these two in to help out at Tigerland it's for a pretty obvious reason and we can use all the help we can get.

I heard Huddo interviewed on 3LO this arvo and he said he approached Terry with the idea of him doing part of the season as our runner because he feels it will benefit him in his own coaching role.

TM - haven't read anyone saying the Abdominator was a dud player - you made that claim up. By the sounds of Rosy's info, there is no "pretty obvious reason" for Huddo, other than furthering his own coaching career maybe. Though I agree with your inference TM that having mid-sized fwd coach at RFC couldn't do any harm that's for sure ;D.

As I said, surely there were better connected, just as knowledgable and fitter blokes available.
 
From memory Hudson coaches Gipps. power doesn't he.
Can't hurt to have some inside knowledge of the kids in their system. ;)
